Shared vCPUs are burst-capable — your instance can use spare CPU from the host when it’s available. Under sustained load, you might share resources with neighbouring instances. Dedicated vCPUs (Power tier) are reserved exclusively for your instance — no contention, consistent performance. WooCommerce checkout flows, high-frequency API calls, and campaign traffic spikes are best served by dedicated vCPUs.
Yes. VPS resizes are done at the infrastructure level — your data stays on the same storage, the instance is simply allocated more CPU and RAM. Downtime is typically under 5 minutes for a resize. We schedule these during low-traffic windows.
Yes. Every VPS comes with full root SSH access via key authentication. You can install any software, modify configuration, and deploy however your team works. We manage the base OS and stack — the application layer is entirely yours.

A one-time setup fee covers provisioning, OS hardening, stack installation, backup configuration, and Cloudflare integration. The monthly fee covers ongoing management and support. Setup fee is quoted at enquiry stage — typically £149–299 depending on stack complexity.
Our managed WordPress hosting does not include mailboxes. Email and web hosting are separate services, and we’ve found mixing them on the same server causes reliability issues. We recommend Google Workspace (from £4.60/user/mo) or Zoho Mail (free tier available). We’ll help you set up MX records as part of the migration process.
