Yes. SkyDonate is built on WooCommerce for payment processing, checkout, order management, recurring donations, and reporting. WooCommerce must be installed and active.

Does SkyDonate support Gift Aid for UK charities?

Yes. The plugin captures Gift Aid declarations during checkout, remembers donor preferences, and supports recurring donations. For direct HMRC submissions, it integrates with the companion plugin, Sky Gift Claim.

What is Magic Login?

Magic Login lets donors securely access their account using a one-time email link instead of a password, making the donation experience faster and easier while maintaining security.

Can SkyDonate be used for Zakat and Qurbani donations?

Yes. SkyDonate includes dedicated Islamic giving tools, including a Zakat calculator, Qurbani donation options, live availability displays, and Elementor widgets for easy page building.

Can donors make anonymous donations?

Yes. Donors can choose to remain anonymous for individual donations or set anonymity as their default preference, while the charity still retains the required records for administration and Gift Aid.

What payment methods are supported?

SkyDonate works with any WooCommerce payment gateway. Most charities use the WooCommerce Stripe gateway, which supports cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay; other gateways and manual or bank-transfer methods are also supported.

Can donation certificates be customised?

Yes. You can personalise certificates with your branding, colours, logos, signatures, QR codes, and custom messaging, then automatically send them to donors or make them available for download.

Does SkyDonate support recurring donations?

Yes. The plugin works with WooCommerce Subscriptions to manage recurring donations, automatic renewals, and ongoing Gift Aid preferences.

Can all plugin data be removed if I uninstall it?

Yes. SkyDonate includes an optional uninstall cleanup feature that can remove its database tables, settings, scheduled tasks, uploaded files, and other plugin data when uninstalled.
