The story
From a one-person studio to one team for the whole stack.
I started Sky Web Design in 2014 as a sole trader, building WordPress websites for small businesses. Clients kept asking for more than a website: a booking system, a donation checkout, an app, a server they could rely on. So we learned to build those too.
In January 2022 the business became Sky Web Design Ltd. Today the team designs and builds websites, custom WordPress plugins and iPhone and Android apps, and runs the hosting they live on for clients across the UK.
I still lead the technical work: the code behind our plugins, the apps and the servers.
